A slogan writing competition was held on 29-Sept-2014 at Govt. High School, Lasudiya Mori. The aim for the competition was to create awareness among school students on lake conservation issues. The first three drawings were awarded prizes.
Rally by NSS Students and Professors on 25.11.2014 at Lasudiya Mori was started up by the Chairman of the Lake Conservation Committee in Lasudiya Mori. 38 girl students, 2 professors, 2 members of the Lake Conservation Committee in Khajrana and Chairman of The Nature Volunteers joined the rally. The objective was awareness generation about lake related issues.
Wall Slogans on lake conservation were written by NSS Students of MKHS Gujarati Samaj College on the temple and school walls at Lasudiya Mori. The aim of the slogans was to raise awareness on lake conservation,
A cleanliness drive was carried out around Lasudiya Mori Lake near the Community Hall as well as school premises to promote a hygenic environment around the lake and restrict solid waste dumping.
An exposure visit of 38 NSS Students and 2 Professors was conducted to the Decentralized Waste Water Recycling Plant at Kamla Nehru Zoo, Indore to orient them on decentralized waste water recycling options. The visit was conducted by Mr. Dhiren Chava of TARU. The Waste Water Recycling Plant at the Zoo is a unique demonstration of the use of recycled water for low end uses.
A video on lake conservation developed by TARU along with a presentation on Artificial Floating Islands (demonstrated in Lasudiya Mori) was shown to the students of Govt. High School, Talavali Chanda. A total of 70 students and 7 teachers attended the event.
